- The Washington Post reports on a new Gallup survey that notes that “public concern about climate change in the U.S. is at an all-time high.”
- According to Yahoo!, top fashion school Parsons School of Design, has decided to end its relationship with fur companies and focus on teaching “alternative methods to using animal products.”
- Via The Tyee: Studies show that racism is a public health issue; researchers are seeking more insights into the specific impacts of living in racist society.
- Yes! Magazine reports on a growing movement in US communities to provide reparations to people of color for violations such as the past eugenics programs and current instances of torturing people into giving false confessions.
