The Gun Violence Archive (GVA) is a non-partisan organization that strives to provide “accurate information about gun-related violence in the United States.”
The organization tracks a variety of categories of gun violence, from mass shootings and “officer-involved shootings,” to unintentional shootings and defensive use. Categories such as deaths vs. injuries vs. number of children and teens killed or injured are also included.
The site includes both maps with dots reflecting incidents and charts that show details about individual incidents.
